Clean Up Florida Waters – Volunteer Waterway Cleanup

Join the REALTORS® Association of Lake & Sumter Counties as we participate in Florida REALTORS®' annual Clean Up Florida Waters initiative! On Friday, July 17, 2026, volunteers will meet at the RALSC Tavares Office at 8:45 AM. From there, we will travel together to our cleanup location near the trail and waterway area behind Hurricane Dockside Grill in Tavares. The cleanup will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. We'll work together to help keep our local waterways and surrounding areas clean and beautiful for our community and wildlife. Basic cleanup supplies will be provided, including safety vests, garbage grabbers, trash bags, and gloves. After the cleanup, those who would like to continue the fun are invited to join the group for brunch at a nearby restaurant. The brunch location will be selected by the group following the event. We hope you'll join us for a morning of service, community involvement, and environmental stewardship!
