COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Understand the strategy of explaining the Buyer Broker Agreement and explaining their value to consumers/buyers and understand how to use Buyer Broker Agreements to protect their compensation.
2. Explain the Buyer Broker Agreement and the National Association of Realtors® policies on the use of such agreements, Understand Buyer Broker’s and Consumer’s obligations under the Buyer Broker Agreement.
3. Identify the requirements of Buyer Broker Agreements when hosting an Open House
4. Understand the different types of Buyer Broker Agreements
5. Understand Agency law
6. Identify Florida Realtors® Compensation Agreement Forms, which should be used in conjunction with the Buyer Broker Agreement.
7. Explain Cooperation, Compensation, Credits, and Concessions
8. Understand the role of the National Association of Realtors® Code of Ethics and the buyer broker relationship
9. Negotiate Successfully for Compensation
10. Understand when and how to use Modification Forms
11. Identify the difference between the Buyer Broker Agreement and other Showing Agreement forms.
12. Know how to effectively communicate accurate information to the Consumer by practicing role playing
